How Close To My Pool And Sidewalk Can I Plant My Canary Date Palm Without Destruction?

i’m planning on planting a canary palm between my pool and block wall. there is about nine feet distance in between. i would like to plant about five to six feet from my pool. will this be alright?

    I wouldn’t do that because these trees drop a bunch of seeds every where and the worst place to have them land is in your pool. The seeds can stain the bottom of your pool leaving ugly brown spots every where and to add to that there’s hundreds of them your have to clean out of the pool.
