How can I protect my lawn from the weight of swimming pool?

We have just been given a 12ft swimming pool with filter,cover and chemicals.Hopefully we should be due a nice summer in the UK this year so it will get some use!
However we only have grass in our back garden and Im wondering what will happen to the grass if the weight of the swimming pool [...]

I have added all the chemicals available, backwashed, added water, emptied thru the waste valve, water seems to be foamy, ph is correct, I’m at a loss

I live in PA… so I have it closed for the winter… is there any harm in not opening it in the summer time this year? Do I have to do anything to it (chemicals?).
