I first turned off the power to the hot tub.Then I drained the hot tub and put new water in it now it wont heat up any at all. How can I fix this?

My husband rarely empties our hot tub because he feels that as long as he adds the appropriate chemicals there is no need to drain it and refill it with clean water.

We made the mistake of not putting a cover over our above ground pool over the winter, so the algae in it started multiplying, and now the color of the water is not only green, but it has huge chunks of algae in it. When is it time to just drain it, and start fresh?

When can we swim. My pool is 18×48ft. I went to the pool store and they tried to sell me $200.00 in chemicals. I don’t think i need all that because the water is fresh and clear . Right now it is plain jane tap water.

have a hot tub that’s a bit of a money pit. it’s not being used but we’re still paying for the upkeep and heating. Can we drain it and leave it empty and expect it to work, again, in the future if we want to use it?
