Suppose someone with aids was bleeding in the pool and others were swimming with open cuts, swallowing water, or just urinating while swimming would it be possible for all those people to be infected?

I knew nothing about pools prior to owning a house with one and was able to open it without too much of a problem. It is an in ground 17,000 gal pool with DE filter. There are several options for closing and pricing ranges from $150 – $350. Any suggestions?
