Must I Winterize A Pool (inground, South Bend,in) Ir Can I Leave It Open If I Run The System?

If you keep the water circulating constantly ( including flow through chlorinators etc) there’s no problem. Moving water doesn’t freeze. The issue you’ll have, is that if your area suffers some sort of power outage during the winter, you’ll get a freeze. There’s your risk.
